The working group of the National Committee for Macroprudential Supervision (CNSM) quantified a volume of green projects worth 60 billion euros

The working group of the National Committee for Macroprudential Supervision (CNSM) has quantified a volume of green projects worth 60 billion euros, which is currently in both the public and private sectors, Florian Neagu announced, Deputy Director of the NBR, Coordinator of the CNSM Working Group to support green financing.

The working group identified 16 proposals for recommendations covering three areas:

• sustainably increase access to finance for projects related to the climate change agenda;

• supporting the structural change of the economy towards one with higher added value;

• improving the transparency, reporting and availability of information on climate change, as well as raising awareness of the impact of climate change on society and the financial system;

The green house is a term used for buildings built and used in a responsible way towards the environment, throughout their life cycle: design, construction, use, maintenance, renovation and demolition.

The Romanian Council for Green Buildings is a non-profit association that aims to encourage market, educational and legislative conditions necessary to promote high-performance buildings that are both sustainable and profitable. RoGBC is officially accredited as an “Emerging council” by the World Green Building Council.
